Wake Up in the Dream, Ascend & Walk in Our Sovereignty and Co-create our New World

Our God-given Sovereignty – I Peter 2:9 (NKJV)

9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Let’s begin co-creating our Sovereign NuMu.

Sovereignty: Our god-given right to choose. No law, words, paper, or person can give it or take it away.

In a democracy the peoples will is sovereign.

Sovereignty Word Meaning: supreme, independent authority and power over a territory, government, or state without outside control.

Core Meaning

  • Supreme Power: The ultimate legal and political authority to make and enforce laws.
  • Independence: Freedom from external interference or foreign rule.
  • Self-Governance: The right of a nation or people to govern themselves and manage their own affairs

Introduction: The Abdicated Ruler Within

We live in a world obsessed with permission. From the moment we are born, we are conditioned to look outward for validation, governance, and rules.

We ask permission to speak, permission to move, permission to build, and permission to think. Somewhere along the line, humanity began to mistake the structures of society for the source of human rights. We stepped down from the seats of our own lives, leaving the throne vacant, and allowed external expectations, fear, and social pressure to rule in our stead.

But there is a deeper, unshakeable truth that predates every government, every constitution, and every legal framework ever written: You are sovereign.

Sovereignty is a word we often lock away in history books or political science textbooks. We associate it with crowns, borders, and supreme courts. Yet, the truest execution of sovereignty is not found in the halls of parliament; it is found in the human spirit. Your personal sovereignty is your inherent, God-given right to choose. It is the absolute authority over your own life, mind, body, and destiny. No law, no paper, no spoken word, and no external entity can grant it to you—and conversely, none of them can ever strip it away.

To walk in your sovereignty is to stop acting like a subject in your own life and reclaim the throne. It is an internal revolution where you reassert the ultimate legal and political authority over the territory of your own soul.

Defining the Word: From Nations to Neighbors

To fully understand what it means to step back into this power, we must look at how the word has traditionally been defined, and then bridge the gap between global politics and individual reality.

Literally defined, sovereignty means supreme, independent authority and power over a territory, government, or state without outside control. When a nation is sovereign, it answers to no foreign master. It draws its own borders, coins its own currency, and establishes its own laws.

Historically, political theorists break this down into three core pillars:

  1. Supreme Power: The ultimate, final authority to make, interpret, and enforce decisions within a specific domain. There is no higher court or power to override it.
  2. Independence: Absolute freedom from external interference, foreign rule, or coercion. A sovereign entity operates from internal consensus, not external pressure.
  3. Self-Governance: The intrinsic right of a nation or a people to govern themselves, manage their own internal affairs, and dictate their own future.

In a healthy democracy, we take these three pillars and apply them to the collective population. We state boldly that the people’s will is sovereign. The government does not own the people; the people temporarily lend a portion of their collective power to representatives to keep order. The ultimate authority remains rooted in the citizenry.

But what happens when we zoom in closer? What happens when we take these three concepts—Supreme Power, Independence, and Self-Governance—and apply them not to a country, but to you?

The Birthright of Choice: A Power That Cannot Be Granted

The most crucial distinction of all: No law, words, paper, or person can give it or take it away.

If your freedom can be granted to you by a government document, then that same government document can revoke it tomorrow. If your sense of worth and authority is handed to you by a boss, a partner, or a social contract, you are not sovereign; you are a tenant leasing space in someone else’s empire.

True personal sovereignty is a birthright. It is woven into the very fabric of human consciousness. Spiritually speaking, it is the divine gift of free will. The universe, or God, created human beings with the terrifyingly beautiful capacity to choose. We can choose to love or hate, to build or destroy, to comply or resist.

Because this power is inherent to your existence, external systems cannot destroy it; they can only attempt to make you forget it. A tyrant can lock a sovereign individual in a prison cell, binding their physical body. However, history has shown us time and again—through figures like Viktor Frankl or Nelson Mandela—that the mind and spirit of a sovereign person remain completely free. The external world can impose consequences for your choices, but it can never physically force your internal will to surrender without your consent.

Reclaiming the throne begins with the foundational realization that you are already free. You are not waiting for someone to liberate you. You are simply choosing whether or not to act like the rightful ruler of your own life.

The Three Pillars of Personal Sovereignty

To actively walk in your sovereignty, you must translate political concepts into daily personal practices. Let’s look at how the three core meanings of sovereignty manifest in your everyday life.

1. Personal Supreme Power: Becoming the Author of Your Life

In political terms, supreme power means being the final judge. In personal terms, it means taking 100% radical responsibility for your choices, your beliefs, and your emotional states.

When you lack sovereignty, you blame external forces for your condition. You blame the economy, your parents, your spouse, or your boss for your unhappiness. While external circumstances are very real and often unfair, a sovereign mindset recognizes that you always retain the supreme power over how you respond.

You are the supreme court of your own life. Other people will offer their opinions, their criticisms, and their rules. A sovereign individual listens if it is wise to do so, but ultimately hands down the final verdict themselves. You decide what is true for you. You decide what your values are. You stop letting public opinion write the laws of your life.

2. Personal Independence: Freedom from Emotional Interdependence

A nation cannot be sovereign if its economy and laws are dictated by a neighboring superpower. Similarly, you cannot be personally sovereign if your emotional state is entirely dependent on the moods, actions, or approval of the people around you.

Personal independence means drawing clear, unyielding psychological boundaries. It is the ability to say, “Your anger is your territory; my peace is my territory.”

When you walk in independence, you no longer alter your behavior just to keep from rocking the boat or to please people who do not have your best interests at heart. You break free from the invisible strings of manipulation, guilt-tripping, and social coercion. You stop allowing the toxic dynamics of others to cross your borders and colonize your mind.

3. Personal Self-Governance: Mastering Yourself from Within

Self-governance is the opposite of chaos. Just because you are sovereign does not mean you live without rules; it means you are the one who creates and enforces the rules.

True freedom is not the absence of discipline; it is the presence of self-discipline. If you do not govern yourself, someone else will eventually step in to govern you. If you do not control your impulses, your budget, your health, and your habits, then external forces—be it corporations, addictions, or predatory systems—will happily take control of your territory.

A sovereign person establishes an internal code of ethics and holds themselves accountable to it. You govern your time, you curate the media you consume, and you protect your energy. You rule over your fears instead of letting your fears rule over you.

The Saboteurs of Sovereignty: Why We Give Our Power Away

If sovereignty is our natural, god-given state, why do so many people live in a state of quiet submission? Why do we allow ourselves to be treated like subjects rather than rulers of our own lives?

The truth is that sovereignty is heavy. It requires tremendous courage, and human nature often seeks comfort over freedom. There are several primary psychological traps that cause us to abdicate our throne:

  • The Comfort of Compliance: It is terrifyingly easy to just follow orders. If you let society, your family, or a rigid system make all your decisions for you, you never have to face the terror of the unknown. If things go wrong, you can simply say, “I was just doing what I was told.” Sovereignty forces you to stand alone in your choices.
  • The Fear of Social Rejection: Human beings are tribal creatures. Historically, being cast out of the tribe meant physical death. Today, stepping outside of societal norms or questioning mainstream narratives often results in social exile or criticism. Walking in your sovereignty requires you to value your own truth over the temporary warmth of external validation.
  • The Illusion of Safety: Many people willingly trade their independence for a false sense of security. They allow external entities to dictate their health, their thoughts, and their movements because they believe it guarantees safety. But as history teaches us, any system big enough to give you everything you want is also big enough to take away everything you have.

Step-by-Step: How to Begin Walking in Your Sovereignty Today

Reclaiming your sovereign power is not a loud, dramatic event. It is a series of quiet, deliberate choices made every single day. Here is how you can begin walking that path today:

Audit Your “Internal Laws”

Take a look at the beliefs you hold about what you “can” and “cannot” do. Ask yourself: Where did this rule come from? Did you consciously choose it because it aligns with your soul, or was it handed down to you by an authority figure, an ex-partner, or a cultural trend? Strip away any law in your mind that you did not consciously vote for.

Master the Power of “No”

Your borders are defined by what you allow inside them. Every time you say “yes” to something that drains your soul, breaches your peace, or violates your values, you are signing away a piece of your territory. A clean, firm “no” is the ultimate declaration of a sovereign border. You do not need to over-explain or apologize for protecting your territory.

Disconnect from the Matrix of Outrage

Sovereignty requires a calm, clear mind. Modern society is engineered to keep your nervous system in a constant state of fear, distraction, and outrage. When you are reactive, you are easily controlled. Turn off the noise, step away from the endless digital feedback loops, and anchor yourself back into nature and your own unbothered thoughts.

Own Your Financial and Physical Health

You cannot be fully self-governing if you are completely reliant on systems that demand your compliance in exchange for survival. Focus on building personal resilience. Learn skills, manage your debts, take radical care of your physical body, and become as self-sufficient as possible. True independence is practical, not just philosophical.

Conclusion: The Sovereign Future

The ultimate legal and political authority of your life will never arrive in the mail. It will not be handed to you by a politician, validated by a certificate, or confirmed by your peers.

It is already inside you, waiting for you to look down, see the crown of your own free will, and place it firmly back on your head.

When you choose to walk in your sovereignty, the world around you changes. You stop reacting and start creating. You stop begging and start building. You recognize that while you cannot control the winds of global events, empires, or shifting laws, you remain the absolute, supreme, independent ruler of your own soul.

Stand tall, establish your borders, embrace your self-governance, and step fearlessly into your god-given right to choose. Reclaim your throne—your territory is waiting for you to lead it.
